Marián Sučanský RESTLESSNESS OF SOUL

On the occasion of the 80th birthday of the artist, the gallery organizes a comprehensive exhibition of his works. He was particularly famous for expressive figurative painting with a dull gray-green palette.

Ľudovít Bránsky METAMORPHOSES OF TRENCIN AND COUNTRY

The gallery, on the occasion of the unprecedented centenary of this important painter of the Trenčín region, has prepared a comprehensive exhibition of its landscaping works, especially from Trenčín and its surroundings.

Zoltán Agócs THE HOUSE OF CARDS

The theme of the exhibition is the gesture of the human hand, the eye and the mind freely manipulating the collected reality. A gesture that saves in the collage of passes photographic artifacts scattered over the landscape.

Women in collections of GMAB / WOMEN STREET PALM BONE

The exhibition presents a selection of works by only female artists from the collection of the gallery, which, despite of their creation and not always "women's" themes, contributed significantly to the appreciation of fine arts in our territory, despite their "sexual inequality" and prejudices.

July Haluzova IN THE SHADE OF FLOWERS

The artist presents her latest series called "The Essence of Colors", which is a magical explosion of colorful, impresionist and abstractly sung stains.

Paulína Halasová ABSENCE OF REALITY

In the works of the young author, characters are expelled from the social status trap and live their dream. The works present the exploration of the human psyche without resorting to abstraction.

JÁN H. BLICHA 1939 - 1999

The exhibition tells the life story of an architect and a creative person through his own work. The viewer goes through the cross-section of the most characteristic of his work in Trenčín and region.

Miroir Noir MRB

The Miroir Noir group is Catalan Rai Escalé and Slovak Miloš Kopták. Their co-operation stems mainly from the interrelation of personalities and similarities in visual expression. The works that emerge from this link are based on the painting of the authors simultaneously.

Martina Rötlingová, Simona Papšová SELFIE YOURSELF!

The authors deal with the impact of social networks on the current generation. By confronting their creation and linking their works in the framework of the installation, an integral output of the theme of the female world will be created in the confusing internet reality of today.

Natalia Okolicsányiová

This academic painter belongs to the youngest generation of professional artists of the Trenčín artistic scene. His work focuses mainly on expressive painting with an accent on the distinctive coloring. Her works are full of intimacy, sexuality and provocation.

The long-term documentary project COUNTRYSIDE has the ambition to capture the photographic record of the character of the society, the landscape and the way of life of people in Slovakia in narrower thematic circles.

Peter Župník ANIMALIA

Peter Župník is one of the most distinguished members of a group of photographers New Slovak Wool. Gradually, he became one of the most poetic authors of this band, and at the same time as the only one in his work he did not present a staged photograph.

RETURNS AT TIMES /Czechoslovak Photography - 80th Century 20th Century/

The exhibition will present to the public the creation of five classmates, graduates of the Department of Art Photography at FAMU in Prague. The project will approach their early works, which were among the representative figures of Czechoslovak postmodern photography.

PHOTOGRAPHER BAZOVSKÝ

Bazovský as a photographer was unknown until now. He did not publish his pictures, except for photographic magnifications of them. However, a relatively large set of negatives are found in the SNG Art Archive, and this has become the basis for the exhibition.
